Medicines have benefits and some have risks. Always read the label and use only as directed. If symptoms persist or you have side effects see your health professional. Brands and generics both contain the same active ingredient(s) and are medically equivalent. Some brands are marketed under different names by the same manufacturer depending on the country of origin. Images are provided as a reference only, the received medicine may vary in packaging, color, pill shape, etc, from one batch to the next. For an item marked "generic" any quality brand may be sent, however you will always receive the active ingredients ordered in the strength(s) ordered.

Movelat (mucopolysaccharide polysulfate, salicylic acid) is a topically-applied cream that quickly reduces the pain, inflammation, and stiffness associated with muscle or joint disorders.

Patients buy Movelat to help get relief from:

  • Rheumatism
  • Arthritis
  • Sprains & strains
  • Mild back pain
  • Neck and shoulder pain
  • Other muscular pain
  • General stiffness

The cream includes two active ingredients:

  • Mucopolysaccharide polysulfate is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that, when applied to the skin, reduces muscle and join pain while reducing stiffness.
  • Salicylic acid improves the absorption of mucopolysaccharide polysulfate by softening the outer layer of skin. Mucopolysaccharide polysulfate will still work on its own, but effects are much better when applied with salicylic acid.

As it actually contains an anti-inflammatory and painkiller, Movelat offers real, significant pain and stiffness relief. It is much more effective than creams that only heat or cool an area, and since it's applied topically there are significantly fewer risks of side effects than tablets.

It's not for everyone, however; do not buy Movelat to treat:

  • Patients under 12 years of age
  • Mucous membranes (eyes, nose, mouth, anus, vagina)
  • Infected or broken sections of skin

Mothers who are pregnant or breastfeeding should also not buy Movelat; effects are unclear, and there is evidence the medication can be harmful in the first and third trimesters.

Moving Better with Movelat

Movelat comes in a tube filled with cream. More than 6 inches, or 15 centimeters, should not be applied at once. The cream is applied directly to the painful or stiff area; some relief is felt in moments, but it may take 30 minutes to an hour for full benefit to be felt.

Directions are simple:

  • Apply the cream directly to the painful, sore, or stiff area.
  • Gently massage it into the skin until fully absorbed.
  • Repeat up to four times per day.

As soon as the pain starts to return another application can be administered, up to four times per day. This is sufficient for the majority of users. Those who have pain so severe that Movelat doesn't provide significant relief should consider more powerful painkillers, rather than use more Movelat.

Other pain-reducing methods can also be used along with Movelat; keeping weight off strained or sprained body parts, using a cold compress, elevating the injury, relaxing or massaging stiff muscles, and so forth.

Many patients who buy Movelat also seek out heat for relief; for instance a hot bath can work wonderfully on sore, stiff muscles. Keep in mind, though, that heat can cause skin irritation with Movelat. It doesn't happen to all patients, but it definitely does for some; if it does happen, wait until the body is back to a normal temperature before applying.

Other Considerations

Patients who are allergic to aspirin or other salicylate medications, or NSAIDs like ibuprofen, should probably not buy Movelat; they will likely have an allergic reaction to this medication as well. Topical application is unlikely to produce anything more than severe skin irritation, but if experiencing rapid heartbeat, difficulty breathing, and other severe signs of allergic reaction emergency medical attention should be sought.

As it's administered topically, Movelat is unlikely to interact with other medications. There is some evidence that excessive use can interfere with anticoagulant medications. Other medicated topical ointments should not be used in the same area as Movelat.

Pain Relief Delivered to your Doorstep

In most places Movelat is a pharmacist-only medication, meaning a pharmacist will need to approve the sale. At Kiwi Drug our online doctor can approve pharmacist-only medications provided the patient answers questions about the condition being treated, other medical conditions present, and other medications being taken.
